Exotic adventures and a love of romance inspired this party dress—key attributes of its muse Amber De Herrera, a committed and passionate nurse, yoga teacher, and humanitarian from Durango, Colorado.
About Amber…
Amber loves love. She is a collector of heart shaped rocks, lover of animals and people, and is always up for an adventure.
In her nursing career, Amber is driven with the compassion to connect with people and a desire to make sure that each and every person she encounters knows that they are loved and cared for. This same care and compassion inspire her yoga practice and teaching.
In 2010, her heart was pulled toward Haiti after the devastating earthquake struck. Traveling with Health4Haiti, she worked on a clinical and surgical team along with the Haitian clinic and hospital staff and has traveled back twice more. In 2013, she traveled to Capetown, South Africa where she had the opportunity to teach yoga to staff at the Red Cross Children’s hospital through the organization Lion Hearted Kids.
Amber continues to travel, nurture people’s bodies and minds, and find love wherever she goes.
